What to Expect
What should I wear to a Sunday service?
You will find some people dressed casually and others in their "Sunday best." All are welcome!
Should I bring a Bible?
The Bible is the center of our teaching and preaching, so if you have one, bring it with you! Most of the primary passages are read aloud, however, so you'll be able to follow along even without a Bible. We usually use the New King James Version in our services, but you will find a variety of good translations being used by the congregation members as they follow along.
Will I be asked or expected to give money?
No! While we do take an offering during our Sunday morning service so that our members have an opportunity to give, we never appeal to our guests for money.
When do your services begin, and how long do they last?
The Bible Study and Sunday School hour on Sunday morning begins at 9:30. Someone will be able to direct you and your family members to the class locations. Teachers conclude at about 10:25. The Sunday morning service begins at 10: 45 and is generally concluded by noon. The Sunday evening service begins at 6 P.M. and usually concludes by 7 P.M. The Wednesday evening programs begin at 7 P.M. and are generally done before 8 P.M.
Is there music?
Yes! We believe music is an important part of worship. We strive to glorify God with our music, and most of our singing is congregational with hymnals. Our church choir often sings during the Morning Servcie, and we also usually have special music such as solos, duets, small ensembles, or instrumental numbers.
Is your church wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Appropriate parking is provided and labeled by the front door, and most of the church entrances are at ground level. Please let us know if there is any way we can assist you.
